Perfect is the only way to describe this property and it's surroundings. The house itself set in a stunning location, with each room furnished to a very high standard is so warming and welcoming. If you can pull yourself away from the property, you are never short of things to do, with the beach across the road and coastal walk to the beautiful coastal villages Rockliffe and Kippford. Such an amazing place, perfect for a family get together or group of friends, can't recommend enough. Will definitely be back in the near future.

We were very fortunate to stay at Craigbittern with our friends while we had a weekend in Sandy Hills. It's a gorgeous, well appointed house with everything thought out. The kitchen is fully equipped, there's a game room, a den, a nice sitting room, a living room with a fire place, a full-dining etc. Really recommended for a big group of friends or family. Craigbittern is big enough for people to go about their own thing - go for a walk on the beach, read, watch movies, enjoy the fire in the living room, play pingpong, nap, etc. Can't wait to go back and enjoy a weekend away from the city!

Stunning house and location that the beautiful pictures don't do justice.

We stopped here for new year with a large bunch of friends and what a perfect way to see in the new year. The house is amazing and very well equipt, from the decor and furnishings, the hidden den for the kids, cosy throws and a real fire, farmhouse style kitchen and the stunning beach just over the road. There's a lovely coastal walk up to kipford which has stunning views and at the end a pub to enjoy a well earned drink! It's a great holiday home to escape day to day life and I will certainly look forward to spending time here again!

We were lucky enough to be the first guests here to welcome in the New Year at Craigbittern. The house is huge and beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything you can think of has been provided - a kitchen equipped to cook roast goose for 12, a treasure hunt and games for the kids, an Xbox, table football and table tennis for the big kids, books, jigsaws and more dvds than we have at home! The weather was perfect, which meant the walk through to Kippford on New Year's Day was stunning. All in all an amazing weekend in an amazing house.
