Forest Estate Experience Many activities to choose from including clay pigeon shooting to trout fishing, rifle shooting, game shooting and deer stalking. In the stunning surroundings of the 11,000 acre Forrest Estate, this is a great place for couples, families or large groups to have a go at country sports with expert tuition. Galloway Forest Situated in the heart of Galloway, southern Scotland, the Galloway Forest Park managed by Forestry Commission Scotland offers spectacular views and a diversity of dramatic scenery. Three hundred square miles of wild
beauty are waiting to be explored, here, in Britain’s largest forest park. Don’t miss the Otterpools on the Raiders Road Forest Drive, a perfect place to stop for a picnic.
Red Kites Display, Laurieston. Part of the Galloway Kite Trail a spectacular display to witness. Feeding daily at 2pm at Visitors Centre with hot drinks and cakes. Admission charge £5 adults children free.
