Craigbittern Competition

- December 20, 2016 -

COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED!

We are SO excited to finally share Craigbittern with you, and to celebrate the launch of our very first holiday home we are running a fabulous competition.

How do you fancy winning a weekend away for you and 12 friends or family members in the luxurious surroundings of Craigbittern, Sandyhills, Dumfries and Galloway? This stunning Victorian building has just had a makeover to create a perfect group getaway including  a games room, cosy beds and lots of room to relax.

Not only this, but Phil from The Gallery at Lauriston has generously thrown in a canvas print of ‘To Little Ross Island’ for you to take home. The walls of Craigbittern are adorned with his pieces and they really are something special. And just to finish it off you will arrive to a hamper with everything you would need for a steak dinner for 13 (including wine!) provided by Kilnford Farm Shop.

All you need to do is click on this link and fill in the form, then give this Facebook post a quick ‘like’ and ‘share’ and you will be in with the chance of winning this wonderful prize.

Happy Clients that have stayed with us

  • Okay, so the best thing about Craigbittern was the space, it was large enough not to be tripping over each other (we were three families, including 6 teenagers). We often go away together, but in other places we have been a bit cramped at some point (parking, kitchen, dining, whatever..). Actually the dinning room is fabulous and we all sat together at the table for dinner which does not happen very often any more. And the games room was a hit. Oh, and I got 4G (on Vodafone) which is a rarity in this part of the country. The wifi’s fine, but it was getting hammered by the kids. We had a very lovely holiday stay in a chilly mid-February and would very happily come back again

  • Stunning house and location that the beautiful pictures don't do justice.

  • What a stunning house. We loved everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the cosy decor to the open fires and luxurious bedrooms. They've thought of everything - even a games room, x box, and treasure hunt for the kids!

  • I stopped here for new year 2016/2017. The house is furnished incredibly well & looks amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone to celebrate without feeling cramped. The house is just across the road from the beach where you can join the coastal path to Kippford & take in the beautiful local scenery. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for somewhere special to stay.

  • The beautiful views of the Irish Sea from the house led me into a morning run to the beach to discover a stunning landscape of green hills, shallow waters and steep cliffs. Definitely made an exceptional start to my Saturday! The house is furnished to a very high standard and made us feel cost and warm. For those wanting to spend quality time with their friends, this is the perfect retreat (the house accommodates 13 people!).
