Okay, so the best thing about Craigbittern was the space, it was large enough not to be tripping over each other (we were three families, including 6 teenagers). We often go away together, but in other places we have been a bit cramped at some point (parking, kitchen, dining, whatever..). Actually the dinning room is fabulous and we all sat together at the table for dinner which does not happen very often any more. And the games room was a hit. Oh, and I got 4G (on Vodafone) which is a rarity in this part of the country. The wifi’s fine, but it was getting hammered by the kids. We had a very lovely holiday stay in a chilly mid-February and would very happily come back again

I recently spent the weekend at this beautiful house and recommend it highly. The house itself is decorated and furnished to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail. It's very well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The kids were never bored with the games room, den and toys to keep them entertained. As well as the house being beautiful it is set in beautiful surroundings, right on the beach and with some lovely walks near by. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to return again soon

Perfect is the only way to describe this property and it's surroundings. The house itself set in a stunning location, with each room furnished to a very high standard is so warming and welcoming. If you can pull yourself away from the property, you are never short of things to do, with the beach across the road and coastal walk to the beautiful coastal villages Rockliffe and Kippford. Such an amazing place, perfect for a family get together or group of friends, can't recommend enough. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Stunning house and location that the beautiful pictures don't do justice.

We stayed in the winter and it was a warm, beautiful and we'll equipped base from which to explore - really luxurious!! We will be back
